Zero Fog, LLC ("Zero Fog," "we," "us") is a Massachusetts-based consulting firm. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website at zero-fog.com or submit a form, how we use that information, and the rights you have over it. When you submit our fit-call request form or otherwise contact us, we collect the information you give us, which may include:

- Email address
- Company name and role
- The situation or question you are reaching out about
- Any other information you choose to provide in the form fields or in subsequent communication
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our website analytics and infrastructure providers may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Browser type, operating system, device type
- Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring website
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 4 below)
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry. If you submit a fit-call request or email us, we use your information to reply and to discuss whether we are the right firm for your situation.

We use a small number of third-party services to operate our website and our practice. These providers process information on our behalf under contractual data protection terms:
- HubSpot — our website hosting, customer relationship management, and form submission processor. HubSpot processes form submissions and stores contact records. Their privacy policy is available at hubspot.com/privacy.
- Google Analytics (if and when enabled) — aggregated website analytics. Their privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Rejoyce — the peer software firm whose substrate Zero Fog uses in client engagements. Rejoyce does not have access to website visitor data or form submissions. If you become a Zero Fog client and use the Rejoyce substrate as part of your engagement, your data handling will be governed by a separate agreement that we will explain at that time.
4. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. Some are strictly necessary for the site to function; others help us understand site usage. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may not work as expected. We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking or advertising.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes outlined above, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Contact records are typically retained for the duration of our relationship plus a reasonable period to allow for follow-up. You may request deletion at any time.
