Three ways to engage. One discipline underneath.
Every Zero Fog engagement uses the same underlying discipline — SEI applied through the four-primitive substrate, run on the Quarterly Execution Cycle, calibrated to your situation. What varies is the shape of the engagement. Most clients enter at the diagnostic. Some go deeper. A few engage at all three levels.
Execution Diagnostic
The wedge. Where most engagements begin. We diagnose where execution is actually breaking — not where it appears to be breaking — using the SEI substrate calibrated to your sector and your situation. The output is a structural read on the constraint hierarchy, sized in financial terms, with a 100-day intervention plan board-ready for whatever decision the engagement was built to inform.
- Causal model of your execution, calibrated to your operating data
- Constraint map ranked by financial exposure, with confidence-qualified findings at every node
- Capability substrate scored across Maturity, Clarity, Agility, Velocity
- Board- or sponsor-ready PDF and PPTX deliverables
- 100-day intervention plan with sequenced priorities and proof points
Quarterly Execution Cycle
The core offer. A governed 90-day cycle against the highest-value execution problem the diagnostic surfaced — or one the leadership team brings us into directly. Each cycle produces a proof artifact and earns the next.
- Monitor: live tracking of the constraints, signals, and outcomes the cycle is governing
- Analyze: causal interpretation of what's moving and why, refreshed at cycle midpoint
- Execute: integrated work on the intervention — strategy, operating model, applied AI, or system change
- Prove: closed-loop attribution from intervention to outcome, documented at cycle close
Execution System Build
The deep work. When a Quarterly Execution Cycle surfaces an intervention that requires purpose-built infrastructure — applied AI, decision systems, custom workflow — Zero Fog designs and delivers it. We don't take build engagements without the diagnostic underneath them; we've seen too many systems built against the wrong constraint.
- Production-grade system, scoped against a specific high-value execution problem
- Applied AI, workflow automation, or decision tooling — built on the same SEI substrate
- Delivered, operational, and owned by your team at the close
- Anchored to the causal model, so the system fits the execution reality it's deployed into
The path from first conversation to operating cadence.
Fit Call (30 minutes)
A direct conversation with a senior practitioner. We learn the situation; you learn whether the discipline fits. No deck. No sales motion.
Diagnostic Scope (one week)
If we agree to proceed, we scope a diagnostic to your specific situation — board cycle, hold period, AI initiative, transformation phase, exit window. Fixed timeline, fixed deliverables, fixed price.
Diagnostic Engagement (30–45 days)
The diagnostic runs. Substrate calibrates. Causal model builds. Capability scoring completes. Constraint hierarchy and intervention plan land on schedule.
Operating Cadence (90-day cycles, renewable)
If the diagnostic surfaces work the team wants to take on with us, the engagement moves into the Quarterly Execution Cycle. The discipline runs as long as the partnership is producing decision-changing value — and not a cycle longer.
